Elven Leavescythe (top half)

I wish i had canvas space to draw that rest of the shaft/staff. All I have is top bit...

Okay. So I know nothing about art. If the world's future was on the line and I had to draw a smiley face , i'd mess it up.
But I sketched something. 
It looked crap.
I scanned it.
looked crap.
Threw a bunch of filters and hue-sliders at it on paint.net
still pretty bleh.
but whatever!
